Coach Mike Pariseau returns as the boys varsity soccer coach at Bishop Feehan. He is only the second coach in the history of Feehan boys soccer, having taken over for the program’s founder Paul Pontes following the 1994 season. In that time, he has won over 200 games as the Shamrock’s head coach.

Currently, the team has qualified for the MIAA state tournament for 16 consecutive seasons, with 17 qualifications in total. The team has won league titles in 1999, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2016, 2018, and 2019. Under his leadership, Feehan advanced to the south sectional finals in 2016, the south sectional semifinals in  2010, and 2019, and to the south sectional quarter finals in 2011, 2012, and 2014.

Coach Pariseau is a 2 time Eastern Athletic Conference coach of the year, and the 2010 Massachusetts Soccer Coaches Association D II south coach of the year. In 2019 he was inducted into the Massachusetts Soccer Coaches Hall of Fame.

Coach Pariseau teaches Biology at Cumberland High School in Cumberland, RI.

Coach Charron is a 2001 graduate of Bishop Feehan. In his time here as a student athlete, he was a four year member of both the soccer and basketball teams. In addition, he played tennis during his junior year and ran track & field during his senior year.

Coach Charron has over a decade of coaching experience for the Shamrocks under his belt, with his primary focus being on boys soccer (Assistant Varsity and JV Coach) and boys basketball (JV Coach). He has also coached two seasons of junior varsity baseball and served as the interim head coach of the boys tennis team for one season. Coach Charron also serves as a Guidance Counselor at Feehan. 

Coach Charron received his B.A. in Communication and Media Studies from Fordham University in 2005 and his M.Ed. in Counseling from Providence College in 2007. He and his wife, Shannon Doran ‘04, live with their daughter, Madeleine, and trusty golden retriever, Indiana Jones, in Providence, RI.
