Basketball (Winter-B)

The Boys Basketball Program is a member of the Catholic Central League and Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association. The Shamrocks play in Division 1, the highest ranked division in the State.

The Feehan Basketball Program offers three teams: Freshmen, JV and Varsity.

General Program Goals

• Provide a competitive program that will focus on overall player development which will
• result in a program that is greater than the sum of its parts.
• Provide student-athletes with the skills and learning opportunities necessary to perform
• at a high level on the basketball court and in life with an emphasis on, accountability,
• work ethic, character, self-sacrifice, respect, sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork.
• Create a culture based on a great work ethic, mastery of the fundamental skills, respect,
• and team first attitude. Every player and coach will demonstrate these qualities on and
• off the court.
• Coaches will put the emotional and physical health of our players above the desire to
• win.
• Foster a positive and fun atmosphere for players to develop and reach their potential.
• Create a Program that will become a destination for local players.
