Coaches

Amy Dolores has served as Head Coach of the Bishop Feehan Girls Basketball Team since 2019.  She began her coaching career on the Feehan Girls Basketball staff in 2003. Coach Dolores has compiled a 69-19 record, including an 8-3 record in the state tournament, in her first four seasons as head coach. In 2023, her team was the Division 1 State Runner-up, advancing to the State Championship game for the second time in school history. The 2023 team finished 20-6 and captured the Rockland Holiday Tournament Championship while playing the most challenging schedule in the state based on the MIAA power rankings. In 2022, the team finished 21-3, tied for fourth most wins in program history, and advanced to the Division 1 State Quarterfinals. The team also captured the Central Catholic League Cup and won the Mansfield Roundball Classic. In Dolores’s first season as Head Coach, the team won the league championship and advanced to the Division 1 South Sectional Semifinals. During her tenure, players have earned All-Scholastic Honors from both the Globe and Herald; and Player of the Year and All-Academic Team Honors from the Massachusetts Basketball Coaches Association as well as League and Sun-Chronicle All-Stars.  A number of players have moved on to compete collegiately at D1, D2, and D3 schools including SUNY Binghamton, Colby College and Babson College.

Dolores is the Director of the Shamrock Girls Basketball Camp which serves over 140 campers each summer and has run school vacation clinics for the area youth.  She has a strong commitment to developing leaders and has participated in MIAA/MSAA Female Student Leaders Workshop and the MIAA’s Girls and Women in Sports Day. Dolores earned a full tuition academic scholarship to Villanova University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and she holds a Master’s degree in Education from Providence College.  As a player, she captained an undefeated, state championship basketball team at LaSalle Academy. Coach Dolores is also a math teacher at Feehan and serves as a volunteer coach for Mansfield youth sports. She resides in Mansfield with her husband and three children.
